My name is Lara, I'm an Italian artist, and although my house is full of my own paintings or on which I am working, I love to collect works, or limited edition prints by other artists.
I have lived in Italy, Spain, UAE and now I live in the UK.
About 12 years ago, after working as an illustrator, graphic designer, set designer, and ... travel agent, I decided to devote myself fully to painting, experimenting, making mistakes, always trying to nourish the desire to create.
I am obsessed with equilibrium. Inside the canvas, the cardboard, or whatever surface I am using, the search for harmony is fundamental. The balance between colors, order and chaos, light and shadow.
